What is an RSS feed?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format for sharing and distributing Web content for Web sites and blogs that have frequently updated information. RSS feeds are free and a great way to have news delivered directly to your desktop. The HINTS feed will keep you updated on new briefs and publications, upcoming meetings, and new data releases.

How do I access RSS feeds?

Some Web browsers have built-in RSS reading capability. If you want to subscribe using a browser reader, just click on the feed URL or RSS feed icon above and then click on the Subscribe to this feed button.

If you want to use an RSS feed reader that will gather and display RSS feeds for you, cut and paste the URL above into your reader. There are a number of free and commercial RSS readers available for download.
